Earthub is an environmental organization that spreads environmental awareness and collects everyday items for reuse or proper recycling with our “Items to Keep Out of The Landfill” program! We have collection locations across Ontario, including in Toronto + surrounding areas. Collection items are kept for end users who can reuse or reimagine these items while diverting them from landfills.
Our Toronto Chapter hosts 6 drop-off locations in the Toronto area, including in Oakville, Mississauga, Brampton, DT, Midtown, and Pickering. We have also partnered with local Toronto businesses to provide drop-off bins, including The Green Jar, a package-free refillery.
Earthub Toronto collects:
- Prescription pill bottles
- Plastic bread + milk tags
The items must be CLEAN prior to drop-off. Since we are volunteer run, we do not have the capacity to clean dirty items. Please help us in our efforts to reuse – only drop-off clean items. Also, save emissions by dropping your items off in bulk!
It’s important to note that the collection items that are accepted are dependent on your Earthub location. While Earthub Toronto collects pill bottles and bread/milk tags, other locations may accept more or less items, and the items may change over time as Earthub grows.
To find out the address of any Earthub drop-off location, you must EMAIL Earthub. This is a volunteer run program and most of the drop-off locations are private residences, therefore we do not post these addresses on public forums. Email environment@earthub.ca and make sure to include your city in the email for the applicable information in your area.

Again, please remember, Earthub is a volunteer organization run by volunteers who have demanding full time jobs. Please be patient. We will be in touch as soon as possible.
