The General Bean

The General Bean is a company that handcrafts natural fiber products, such as wool dryer balls, car diffusers, felted animals and knitwear. Everything is made by us in Calgary, Alberta.

Our fibre is sourced from a Canadian mill just outside of Calgary. We use a beautiful merino yarn for our knitwear and a durable wool for our felted products.

We believe strongly in supporting our local industries and economy. We have a vision towards environmentalism, sustainability, and local economic growth realized through original hand crafted lifestyle accessories for the whole family.

All of our products make excellent gifts for your eco-conscious friends, from housewarmings to baby and wedding showers and many other occasions! Let us know if you have any questions and we are always happy to gift wrap and include a note for gifts.

Additionally we teach live Zoom  Workshops on different fun projects each month.
