ReCORK is North America’s largest natural wine cork recycling program. We recycle natural wine corks to create new eco-friendly products. The wine corks help to replace the fossil fuels that are generally used in producing consumer products.
We are an alliance of thousands of businesses and individuals across North America working to create positive environmental change. So far, we’ve recycled over 110 million corks. So, help us keep taking natural wine corks out of the waste stream.
How can you help?
We want your cork. Instead of throwing away your natural wine corks, you can drop them off at your local ReCORK Public Collection Partner.
You can also partner with us for free.
Cork Collection Options
- Public Collection Partners – collect corks from members of the public, in your storefront.
- Private Collection Partners – collect corks in the backend of your workplace (not for the public)
- Event Partners – collect corks when you host pouring events, festivals or wine tastings
Important information when shopping for wines:
Cork is a sustainable, eco-friendly material. Therefore, when shopping for wine it’s important to find out which wines use natural cork and which ones don’t. You can do this by using CORKwatch, a database of wines with natural corks, found on our website. Purchasing bottles with natural cork is important for promoting cork harvesting, which is very important for the environment, as harvesting cork bark assists in the absorption of CO2.
