Located in Elmira, Ontario, MCC Thrift & Gift is your department store with thrift prices. At MCC Thrift & Gift you’ll find everything from family books, toys, clothing and games to furniture, sporting goods, jewellery, and more, all at affordable prices!

MCC Thrift & Gift is part of a network of shops owned by Mennonite Central Committee Ontario. MCC lives by their mission to impact disadvantaged people through their work in relief, development and peace. Shopping at your local MCC Shop is an affordable and environmentally-friendly way to support a great cause. Not only will you find name brand items at super affordable prices, you are also helping to send less garbage to the landfills. On top of all that, the proceeds from your local MCC Thrift Shop are used both locally and globally to support the work of Mennonite Central Committee.

What one person no longer needs, can be a treasure in someone else’s eyes. We get thousands of new items in our shops daily, so each visit to your local MCC Thrift Shop will be unique. You’ll find items for your house, your wardrobe and every part of your life…and you’ll be saving money too!

We are pleased to accept quality, clean items in good repair during our donation hours. We accept donations of many types including clothing, shoes, boots, jewellery, purses, furniture, mattresses, lamps, area carpets, small desks, mirrors, pictures and picture frames, houseware items, home décor, knick-knacks, linens, drapery, shower curtains, decorative pillows, small appliances in good working order, books, stationery, school supplies, toys, games, puzzles, DVDs & CDs, musical instruments, craft supplies, sporting goods, tools, hardware, lawn & garden equipment, antiques, collectibles, clocks, and seasonal items & decorations. We then sell these items in our thrift shops. Please deliver all donations during our donations hours. You can also help save our volunteers time if you have your donations pre-sorted into ‘like’ items (eg. shoes in one bag/box, clothing in another, etc.).

Due to weather and vandalism, we thank you for not leaving donations outside of our donation hours. We value what you’re donating and when donations are left in the elements, your donations are no longer useful and become waste. For donation hours, please call us or check our website.
